CREATION OF MITTI ATTAR-

Mitti Attar is made traditionally by using Deg Bhapka & method even today. A special type of soil that is only found in a particular area kannauj, and is sourced from the soil of wild harvested mud, is used to prepare Mitti Attar. It is called Geeli Mitti, Matiyaar, Maati, Barsati Mitti & in the native language.

Cow dung cakes are used instead of electricity to light a fire to generate the steam in the receiver called Bhapka, over a base oil.
