History

Chameli was originated in India and cultivated in the northern part of the Himalayan valleys. Since ancient times, Chameli has been considered the ‘queen of flowers. In the 1400s, Chameli was planted for kings of Afghanistan, Nepal, and Persia. Moreover, the plant was introduced into Britain in the latter part of the 17th century.
